Dog friendly walks in and around Conwy

There’s never a bad time to walk your dog to or from a pub.

Walking your dog in North Wales Coast

There are quite a few dog friendly walking options around Conwy town itself and of course in the surrounding countryside.  You can stroll around Conwy Marina (on our doorstep) and out to the beach, returning through the Golf Club. Conwy Quayside is a dog friendly walking bet too. Slightly further afield, there are quite a few options higher up the Conwy estuary, including Marl Hall Woods and their wonderful views.

Seasonal dog walking tips

Whenever you are planning to walk, there are a few tips you should follow to make sure every adventure is a happy one. On shorter, darker days; Invest in some high viz for you and your dog and carry a dedicated torch.

When the days eventually get brighter and warmer, replace the high viz and torch with sunscreen and water (for you and the dog). Then, whenever you go remember that having a charged phone is a modern day essential, as is keeping your pooch on a lead, especially in open countryside.
